I completed a media remix project that involved six Motion Graphic/VJ artists collaborating with the team who created the upcoming game "Need for Speed: Carbon" in order to create 3-5 minute pieces that represented each artist's own "visualization" of the game. Each artist remixed by using assets provided by EA including 3D models, story based CG, Live Action sequences and interface graphical art.

My concept revolved around the idea of the characters being in an "after life" state, the first half of the animation captures details in their facial expressions and body movements that seem to denote fear and anxiety. The second half of the animation shows how their obsession for speed drives them to race in spite of their fear.

The finished pieces are part of the Collector's Edition release of Need for Speed: Carbon and are included in the DVD as part of the packaging. Other participating artists include D-FUSE and VJ Anyone.
