"Crypto-animation will feature a range of Nakamura’s artistic endeavors. Included in the exhibit will be seven animated videos ranging from the music video Blame to energetic ads for the Japan Cuts film festival and selections from his epic Journeys of Puro. Two contemplative digital installations, Portrait and Passerby will be augmented by a multi-creature drawing installation, paintings, as well as a selection of his soft sculptures and vinyl toys.

Motomichi Nakamura: Crypto-animation is organized by Brian Sieveking, Adjunct Curator of Folk and Outsider Art and will be on display in the Media Lab Gallery February 1 - May 31, 2014"
